out of any character on this hellish earth, enid is my highest kin. if you ever wanted a glimpse into how i act irl all the time, this would be it. enid is a carbon copy of my personality, attitude, and gender. that is all. that is literally me in there. :)
also i connect to her trauma but we don't have time to unpack all that

i am a woman in stem and a girlboss so bonnie is my second-highest kin.
i'm a scientist; i'm working towards getting a degree in astrophysics! also, i have a rough time percieving tone and spatial awareness. i also get hung up on the smaller details, and i psychoanalyze myself and my peers to a fault.
in conclusion, i am a lesbian and so is PB and anyone that says otherwise is a dirty liar <3
Peridot : Steven Universe
okay i know i had hipsteritis about kinning her for a REALLY long time but after ending up dating a lapis kinnie i think i came to my conclusion.
SHE IS SO ME because of her affinity for aliens and her generally alien-like attitude towards everything. she's super smart and always wants to make new friends! she is also prone to being grumpy and nonverbal; she finds it hard to talk about her feelings towards others.
also she loves mean lesbians. and i love mean lesbians. it's like we are each other.
Frye Onaga : Splatoon 3
i'm tired of the forehead jokes i've never thought they were funny and i still don't see the appeal :(
but frye is just like me fr! i'm a hothead who loves making impulsive and heart-driven choices. i also love sweet foods and fire-type pokemon. i am very honest and genuine in my emotions, and i love my friends shiver and big man. pilfering things and stealing with them would be the most fun ever! dancing and taming eels are also like. the coolest hobbies ever i wanna do those.

i define a comfort character as a character that brings me an unquantifiable amount of joy for one reason or another. i just see them and my crops are watered and my skin is cleared.
i'm not sure if doubles are a thing regarding comfort charas, but i don't mind them either way! i always welcome more stans into my dms to appreciate the fine arts of gay little characters.
Pearl : Steven Universe
i could write so many essays JUST on steven universe as a series and at LEAST half of them would be about pearl and her character development.
i could say this for all of the original crystal gems tbh, but steven universe was there for me at a really vulnerable time in my life, and the crystal gems feel like my family because i grew up along with them, pearl especially.
pearl was and has been my favorite OG crystal gem ever since season 1. i've always loved her character arc. i probably kinned her at one point when i didn't know what kinning was, but that was a long time ago and i've since grown out of her as a kin. she still holds a special place in my heart as my highest comfort character.
Abigail : Stardew Valley
ok yeah! maybe i am a simp! what about it!
i love abigail stardew with all my existence. she is literally my dream girl. i love her so much. i wake up, think about abigail, and go back to sleep. deadass.
i literally hate that i have found a FUCKING WAIFU but whatever lol </3 guess i'll join the degenerate club
Maya : Craig of the Creek
this is the scrungly. the boinkiest of scroinkies. she's GOIN IN MY MOUTH /affectionate
idk why but maya is so gender. how did they fit this much gender in an 12 year old. her backstory makes me weep and i wanna put this character in my pocket. she would fit in there. small as hell. she's my favorite creek kid by far!! she deserves the whole world. and also 6 seasons and a movie detailing her overcoming her trauma.
